Vacation Rental FAQs

How do I book a property?

Our online website is the perfect place to book your reservation. Just pick your dates, location and request a quote or book directly. If you have any questions please contact us at 888-318-0022.

How much is the deposit and what payment methods do you accept?

We require a booking payment of 50% of overall cost of the reservation. Full payment is required 30 days prior to arrival date. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Amex and Discover credit or debit cards.

What is your age requirement?

Minimum age to book is 25 years old.

Do you require a damage deposit?

Instead of a damage deposit we offer a Damage Waiver through CSA/Generali. The Damage Waiver fee is standard in the vacation rental industry and it provides protection for up to $3000 for accidental damage to the rental property. Once the reservation is complete you will receive information associated with the policy such as benefits, terms and conditions and other coverage information.  If you opt for a security damage deposit instead of the Damage Waiver, we require a $3,000 refundable security deposit.

What is your check in policy?

Check in time is 4:00pm and check out time is 10:00am. We offer self-check in and will provide pre-arrival and arrival information containing all pertinent information.

What is your cancellation policy?

For short-term reservations, cancellations made at least 30 days prior to arrival will receive a 100% refund.  For long-term/monthly reservations, cancellations made at least 60 days prior to arrival will receive a 100% refund. Cancellation within 30 days of arrival will result in a 100% loss of all monies paid. We offer CSA Travel Protection Insurance and recommend purchasing if you have any concerns. The policy coverage is specific and should be reviewed. If circumstances lead you to cancelling your reservation, please notify us immediately.

Is the cleaning fee for daily maid service?

The cleaning fee covers the departure clean after each guest.  We do not offer daily maid service.

Is there Wi-Fi at the property?

Yes, all of our properties include Wi-Fi. 

How can I get logged into the internet when I arrive at the property?

We send arrival instructions to all of our guests which will include internet information.

Do you provide beach towels?

We do not include beach towels at rental properties. We encourage our guests to bring their personal beach towels or purchase locally.  We provide bath towels and bed linens, both of which should not be removed from the rental location.

What are amenities?

All of our properties include an initial start-up supply of amenities such as: bathroom tissue, paper towels, small dish soap, dishwasher/laundry detergent, trash liner and mini shampoo/conditioner/body bar.  The guest is responsible for providing such supplies for the remainder of their stay. 

Are pets allowed?

Please contact our reservation specialist to inquire about any pet friendly properties.

What can I do if I have emergency after hours?

For property or access code related emergencies, our office number is answered 24 hours a day. Please call 888-318-0022 to reach our after-hours service and someone will get back to you. For security emergencies at a resort, we ask that you call the resort security where you are staying.  For medical or safety emergencies, please call 911.

Are bicycles included? Can we rent them if they are not?

We do not offer bicycles.  If you’d like to rent bicycles for the duration of your stay, local vendors are available and we are happy to provide contact information.

Gulf Coast Beach FAQs

The sand…what kind of sand is along the Emerald Coast?

Our beautiful Gulf Coast beaches are dazzling sand crystals that are made up of quartz produced by a weathering process in the Appalachian Mountains. The quartz has been carried through the rivers and Gulf and now covers our beaches. It is so fine and soft,  it even squeaks under your feet!

Are Beach Chairs and Umbrellas Provided?

A selection of our Gulf front properties include Beach Service (2 chairs/umbrella/table) during peak season. If the property you choose includes beach service, it will be noted in listing. If you would like Beach Service, there are local vendors that can assist you and we will provide that information to you.

Are glass containers permitted on the beaches?

No glass is permitted on the beach, including glass bottles and cups. Glass items are lawfully prohibited. It is suggested to only bring plastic or cans. We appreciate you helping us keep our beaches clean by not leaving trash behind.  Leave No Trace!

Where can we set up on the beach?

Our beaches are on a first-come, first-choice basis. Paid Beach Services are normally front row followed by personal chair set up.

Are we able to leave our beach items over night?

No, our area has a “Leave No Trace” policy that deploys a group of beach ambassadors to pick up items from our beaches every night and every morning – these items are discarded.
