The home was beautiful and clean. With the personal golf cart and location, we rarely had to leave the gated community. We paid less to rent a whole house than we would have for a 1 bedroom hotel with no kitchen or sitting area. The correspondence was easy and they even called to confirm the day of. I rate the whole experience 10/10 and recommend Russell Vacation Rentals to anyone planning a trip to the beach. We already have plans to return next year!

The property is beachfront although the buildings are back away from the beach. The condo had a nicely remodeled kitchen and bathrooms. We had minor issues with the internet and burned-out light bulbs which were eventually addressed. Employees of Russell Vacations were extremely helpful.
Negatives: Floors were very dirty and the old sliding doors barely closed. These need to be replaced (this might be an HOA issue). The noise from the pool equipment below the unit droned on all night making sleeping difficult (might not bother everyone). We had not been to the area before and were surprised that many of the beaches are private property. We were told to leave one area even though we were outside of the private property signs. Not a problem in Naples. Beautiful views and scenery, but we won't be back to the area.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, particularly the lovely view and time spent on the beach. Our only BIG disappointment was the referral to La Dolce Vita for bike rentals. Our advance reservation fell through and agents were not helpful. I think guests would be better served by referrals to local businesses. We wound up having an EXCELLENT experience with Coastal Cruisers.

My family + I had an amazing time here! The room is very nice + comfortable with a lovely view. It did not disappoint in any way, it was just as described and pictured. There's many food spots, activities, pool (a few steps away) and a lot more to enjoy. Plus, the beach is a short ride away. Also, the Russell Vacation Rentals team is awesome. Hours after departing Florida, my husband realized he'd left his wedding ring in the room. Already knowing the policy that any items left behind would be discarded, he immediately panicked. I hurriedly contacted the Russell Vacation team. Shelby quickly responded and informed me that the housekeeper, Genesis, had found it AND had already reported it to management. The property manager agreed without hesitation to ship the ring to us and the matter was resolved within a couple hours. We were and still are so thankful + relieved. And my husband is somewhat out of hot water (haha)! We highly recommend booking here for 10/10 service and a 10/10 stay!!

Our host was very responsive & helpful to all of my questions through the beginning, middle and end of our stay. The home was spacious, clean, beautiful, just perfect for our family of 6! The golf carts were a great amenity in getting us to the beach, shops, restaurants and to drive around the beautiful community. Once we memorized the way to and from the beach & where to exactly park our golf carts at the beach everything went smoothly! The pool was an easy 2 minute walk. I highly recommend this home! lt has everything a family could need! One night we drove the golf carts to Baytown Wharf to walk around, watch their fireworks show, play in the arcade, grab ice cream without leaving the property!
We ordered groceries online and had them delivered to the house with no issues. The home and this community really have it all! Thank you for hosting our family! We definitely hope to be back soon! Ps. We have pre-teen and teenage kids, they had a blast!

This property was perfect for my wife and I. Location was perfect could be anywhere we wanted to go in a matter of minutes. Property was clean and had all of the things we needed kitchen utensils.,Washer /Dryer etc. the convenience of the pool was great.. There were only two negatives about the whole experience a ceiling fan on the back porch would have been a great addition to the morning coffee and the internet was a little slow connecting at times but it was a vacation not work related so it was tolerable. Overall stay was wonderful weather was good again we loved the location and the cleanliness of the property. When definitely recommend this property to anyone and looking forward to coming back in the near future the check in and out process was flawless. 5 star for sure!

Very nice stay! Quiet area, very clean, everything was perfect! Parking between the golf carts is a little tight, just a heads up. Golf cart was a life saver. Don’t forget to explore past the tunnel, kids loved adventure land, and the pool on bayside was always almost empty in the evenings!

We loved this rental. The condo was beautiful, well kept, nice layout, nicely furnished. The patio was fantastic. The amenities in the kitchen were very nice. The garage underneath and the reserved parking space was just a flat out bonus. Using the fob to access the beach and parking garage was very convenient. The beach rentals wentvery smoothly, and because of the fob they were automated once we paid the first day. We will be back!

Plenty of space and had all the cooking stuff we needed. A previous guest complained about the master shower taking forever to get warm and we had the same experience but I would just start it and do a few things while it was getting warm.

It was a nice place. It was in a good location. The only thing we found somewhat frustrating was the parking. There were a few times where cars from other condos were parked in front of our place and at times we were not able to park the golf cart in a spot because there were cars from other condos already parked in the spot where our golf cart was supposed to go so it could be plugged in. Overall, it was mostly clean. Just a heads up, we did see dead cockroaches in the upstairs bathroom closet carpet.

This is a beautiful, spacious and comfortable place to stay. There is so much room to unpack and put away your groceries. We didn’t have to live out of our suitcases or have pantry items all over the kitchen counter as there was plenty of storage. All of the living room furniture is extremely comfortable. The mattress in the primary bedroom is one of the most comfortable I’ve ever felt! My daughter said the same about the guest bedroom. We also enjoyed the covered patio and beach views. Easy steps to the beach. We will stay here again. Highly recommend!

The condo was just ok. It was clean but it’s a very tight condo lots packed into the rooms. Biggest complaint is that I didn’t know we were on a public beach. Had to get up between 5:30-6:30 to put your personal chairs out so you had a spot close to the water. The chair rental guys didn’t set up until 8:00. They majorly need black out curtains in the master bedroom, very outdated curtains and some of the panes were missing. The tvs didn’t work properly in the kids room or master. The pool needs an upgrade. Did kill a cockroach the last night in the closet. Pros are it’s next door to a donut shop, a seafood market, two nice restaurants close by and a great jogging path.

The location is FANTASTIC!! The beach access is literally across the street. Also walking distance is a wine/cocktail bar and a cute little walk up for coffee & popsicles. There are two dedicated parking spaces for the unit - which is also nice! The house had all we needed: toaster, cooking utensils, ice maker, towels, coffee maker, iron, hair dryers, etc. The 4 bedroom/4 bathrooms were perfect for our 2 families of four. The only negatives we had were: the community pool was VERY hot, the trash truck came at 6:45am our first morning of vacation and on the last day of our vacation. The landscapers also came at 8am on our first day. The noise for being on 30A is VERY loud - so bring ear plugs! But that’s the price for being so close to the beach. Our a/c went out on the first floor and got up to 77 degrees - but the managers got someone out next day and had it fixed. The home has a lot of stairs - so be prepared to climb :)
Overall it was a very nice home and was a good value for the money!!

This was our first visit to Seacrest/Rosemary Beach area and it did not disappoint. This condo is in a prime location with a very short walk to the beach and immediate access to the pool. Peddler’s Pavillian is located immediately downstairs with several great shops and restaurants. Rosemary Beach shopping and restaurants are a short walk (maybe 3 minutes) and definitely worth checking out. The condo was clean and well laid out with plenty of room for our family of 5. All the appliance were in working order. Customer service was excellent. The check in code was not working, but their customer service was super friendly and got it worked out within a couple minutes. I can’t say enough great things about this condo and this company. We are already looking to rebook.

Overall the home was well maintained other than the washing machines. The primary suite washing machine had a horrible smell to it and appears to not have been cleaned out in quite some time. We took a towel and wiped out a lot of dark colored dirt from inside the door. Even with bleaching out the machine the odor remained and it even transferred to our clothes. I would not offer the washing machine as an amenity unless someone keeps it clean. I have a video if you’d like. The only other issue was the painters doing work on the house. Not a problem, but we did not know they were going to be there for 3 of our vacation days. They taped up over the door and we had to move the vehicles a few times for them to clean the driveway and garage doors. They also had clear view into the home upstairs through the windows which made getting dressed in the bedroom impossible.

We stayed here for a baseball tournament and the property was great! The pools were a fun way to end each day on the way in from the beach. The kids loved crab hunting on the beach each night. We had a team cookout using the community grills and set up a wiffle ball game on the beach... so much fun!
The condo was well equipped with necessities but lacked anything at all for beach equipment. It would be nice to have some chairs and sand toys available for use while there. And there were a few items that could sue some repairs from maintenance (knobs on the master bathroom tub for one).

The only issues we had were minor. It was a great place overall, but these suggestions would certainly make it nicer for the next visitors.
Mainly the fitted sheet in the master bedroom did not fit on the bed, so it came off every night when we slept. The pull out couch was really uncomfortable for my children. You could feel each coil underneath you when you laid down. It needs a foam topper. There were not enough pillowcase covers for the pillows either. Lastly, only two rolls of TP and two garbage bags were provided, which wasn't enough for a family of 4 for 5 days.

Our stay was fabulous. This is the second time renting from this home location and we love it. We know just where the pool is we know just where the entertainment is and restaurants. Overall our stay was very pleasant. The condo was beautifully decorated, kitchen had everything needed to cook a great meal. Views were also very pretty from this unit and the deck. It was conveniently located steps from the pool. The Golf cart was a great addition, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. It made getting around the resort very easy. On the down side the bathrooms were very outdated, but functional. There were also a few places where the trim was pulling away from the corners and a hole in the wall next to the toilet.

The house is beautiful and well furnished. The pool was great. However, the house sleeps 10 and only has 3 showers. The 2nd floor shower leaked into the first floor bathroom. We were unable to use the 2nd floor shower for 5 of our 7 day trip. The first floor bathroom which was very small ended up having a large piece of the ceiling cut away due to the leak. And it was apparently a recurring issue. It is a lovely home and great location, but the inconvenience was significant- particularly considering the premium we paid for a luxury home in that location.

Loved our stay in June 2024. Everything said in most reviews. Great location to everything. The beach is so easy to walk and if do want chairs Dillon is the only ones you can rent. If bringing own there is plenty of space to set up of the sides of Dillon’s chairs. We also did order bikes from the management list and had them delivered the day we arrived and they picked them up when left. I think must have bikes to make it easy so the traffic heading to rosemary can be heavy at times.
The cottage is great! I would recommend maybe have some extra throw blankets because actually it can get chilly while back from beach and just watching tv or reading a book.
I would also recommend having a framed mirror around the hallway or in a space in the bedrooms or living room or kitchen. When others are in the bathrooms there is no other way to get dressed until they finish because no mirrors. Also there is not a fan in the bunk beds. The management was great and brought some extra plug in fans so we can use in the rooms.

We had to the most beautiful time during our stay in this nice house, everything was amazing, from the staff answering all our questions and to the accommodations in the house, everything was just wonderful, house looks better than the pictures, plenty of space, clean and neat, closed to everything we wanted to do, went in the golf carts to the beach, restaurants, shopping etc. Very centric to everything, had so much fun with the family, will definitely stay here again in our next trip to Destin.

The check-in process was simple and communicated well in advance. The condo is located in our favorite are of Sandestin, the Bayside which is normally quieter and more layer back. We had a wonderful stay at Happy Ours Too. The cottage is a <5 minute walk to private beach access and the pool was a nice benefit. The house was a good size for my small family and we would stay again.
One evening a breaker got tripped and the property management was so quick to respond and get the situation resolved. Everyone I spoke to was very helpful!

Pros: location- 2-3 minute drive to the beach, just down the street from several restaurants. Pond right out the back door made for a relaxing view while drinking coffee in the mornings. (My husband fished in it but never caught anything) My 6 and 7 year old loved feeding the turtles in the pond and playing in the large grassy “backyard” area. The layout was perfect for a family of 4 and 2 grandparents.
Cons: everything feels dated, which would be fine if it was only from a design perspective but unfortunately it’s everything. Doors- one bathroom door downstairs couldn’t be shut because it would get stuck every time, and the handle on the sliding glass door to the patio is almost broken from the door being so difficult to slide. Like other reviewers have said, the queen mattress downstairs feels like sleeping on a futon. It needed to be replaced a long time ago. The golf cart got a flat tire after two days of us being there. It took a day and a half to get it fixed so that wasn’t fun. The rental company communicated with us well, but wish it could have been handled sooner.

This was a beautiful place to stay. The golf cart filled our evenings with fun activities for the kids at the Baytown wharf area. We decided to rent a car also and it was the right choice for more relaxed beaches (we went to snorkel beach and a few others). June is a very busy beach time here and we could hardly find a spot for our chairs at the beach on site unless you get up early and put your chairs out. The condo is decorated beautifully! One suggestion; we needed a food cabinet but a little re-organizing would make one available. Thank you Keena for helping to guide us with choices! We would definitely come back but at a less busy time of year.

This is our family’s second time to stay in this house. It is our absolute favorite. There are many things we love about this place. The views are unmatched, sunsets are amazing, we love having coffee on the screened in porch. We love the view from the living room and master balcony too. The adults and kids enjoy hanging and playing on the grass overlooking the bay. We were even lucky enough to see dolphins swimming in the bay one evening. The home itself is SUPER clean and well kept. We had everything we needed. The third floor is great for our teen girls to have their own space. The other four rooms are a great size too. Perfect layout for mult-family stay. There are two new golf carts since we last stayed and they were so comfy and nice.

Unit 34 at Hidden Dunes is the BEST! This was our 4th year renting at Hidden Dunes and this unit was by far the best location and the cleanest rental I think I’ve ever rented. We always wipe everything down with Clorox wipes and even the outdoor furniture was spotless! Nice linens and fully stocked kitchen this unit has everything you need. Overlooking the pond from the screen porch was a nice relaxing view. Lots of shopping and restaurants within just a couple of miles too. You won’t be sorry you rented this gem!

We really enjoyed our stay at Happy Ours! Having the pool right outside your door was wonderful for napping little ones. The house was clean and well stocked. Make sure to bring your own beach towels and any food necessities as there was nothing in the fridge or pantry upon arrival. A small walk to the beach. There was a beach cart but we did not use it because it looked pretty rusted out and we didn’t want to get half way there and it break. Many restaurants within a 5 minute drive but nothing walkable at least with little ones. Overall a fantastic trip!

We love being beachfront on the top floor and waking up to the sounds of waves. Great view. The location is within minutes to the private beach and pool. Private beach so less crowded. The until came with 2 chairs and an umbrella. Crabby Steve's restaurant is right there. Shops and restaurants are right across the street with alot more within walking or bike rental. The area is quiet and the management company is very responsive. We hope to return in the future!

Spectacular beach home for a family vacation located in close proximity to the beach and a close walk to Seaside in the early morning. The pictures on the website are exactly what you will see when you arrive. It was furnished with all the kitchen cookware and bakeware needed to prepare meals for your family. Loved the pool which was a bonus for the family after a long day at the beach. I would recommend adding a dustpan, having the rugs in the living room cleaned professionally, add a larger tv to the 2nd floor bedroom on the right and consider lowering the temperature on the 2nd floor. We were unable to adjust the temperature that was preset at 70 and the room on the right side was hot every night. The 3rd floor Master Bedroom was amazing!!! Loved sitting on the balcony at night listening to the waves and looking around at the views of the other homes/pools. Everything about this room was perfect. Temp of this room was set at 68 all days except the last night it was increased to 69 but still comfortable with the large ceiling fan. Even with the minor enhancements that could be done to the property, it was overall rated an A in my book and I would definitely stay at the property again and recommend it to my family and friends.

Sunset on Seven is an amazing place to stay. I’d give it 10 stars for cleanliness if I could. If you worry about cleanliness, then rent this place and worry no more! It was spotless and that’s one of my top priorities. The decor was so beautiful. The guest bedroom upstairs is huge! The master bedroom suite is also a nice size, as is the downstairs bedroom. The downstairs bedroom was perfect for my elderly mother. Each bedroom has its own bathroom.
The golf cart was amazing and we drove it almost everywhere- even to the Publix close by. The resort is well maintained and the street was quiet. We never heard our neighbors.
This place is a gem and I highly recommend it!

We’ve been a long time rental of Russell vacation rentals and overall have been pleased with our stay/rental, however the past 2 rentals have been just ok. Both times, we’ve had golf cart issues. This stay in particular, the golf cart was completely broken for the entire stay which really sucks bc that’s one of the things we look forward to using and the main reason for booking this property. Russel vacation was kind to reimburse for that issue.
The property itself was clean but could use some updating, especially the shower knobs. It was hard to pull out to turn the water on and the knob plate felt like it was going to come off. It also didn’t drain well.

My wife, adult daughters, and sister had a plan to travel across the world and due to events out of our control that trip was canceled. We were bummed of course, but the beautiful beaches of the Emerald Coast, combined with the perfect location of Sea Dreams #5, definitely eased the pain.
This rental is ideally located between some of the popular small towns like Seaside, Rosemary Beach, Grayton Beach, and Alys Beach, which allows you to visit the hustle and bustle, (it was spring break) but then escape to your private beach to relax before getting ready to go out again and hit one of the many fine dining establishments in the area.
Sea Dreams #5 is a well appointed, as advertised, rental property. The location is amazing and the views and sound of the ocean lapping the coast is right out your backdoor. Prior to our arrival, the manager of the property let us know of a maintenance issue they had discovered. We worked around it and they were accommodating in making it right. Everything that could have made this trip better, (weather, spring break, etc.) were all out of the control of the managers of this property.
If anyone decides to come during spring break, you will endure extremely busy traffic, extremely busy restaurants, and an insane amount of kids from 12-17 that think they own the place. However, despite all of that, the rental property was ideal. It was located right between the madness of the busiest areas and simply sitting in the backyard or walking down the staircase to the private beach let any stresses or anxieties about the crowds melt away.

We stayed right after they remodeled- still in process and several things weren't done yet - The management company was very responsive - Keena was incredible. They will surely update photos soon. The location is amazing. Would definitely stay again. Only "complaint" would be that the toilets were built for giants - consider bringing a small box or something for your feet if you are average height or below.

This is a particularly great location for your family if you like to be where the action is- so many options for food and shopping right outside your door, including live music on some nights and farmers market Saturday morning. I felt very safe to let kids explore and everything was in biking distance. One warning, because this is such a highly trafficked area, you've got to lock up your bikes! They can easily get taken (by accident or not) by kids passing through.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Fantastic central location to all the amenities. Pool is located just across the street and is beautiful. The home is very comfortable and has large windows across the back which provide a beautiful view of the golf course. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need and more. I’ve stayed in many rentals and this kitchen was by far stocked the best. Arrival and departure process is very easy. I’d give it a 10/10. Will be back next year!

We would highly recommend Russell Vacation Rentals! They were so responsive in assisting us with our “snowbird” rental in Sandestin in February. Our lovely house, 739 Sandpiper Place, was perfect! It was so well equipped! We had the use of a golf cart as well! The house was cozy and cheerful! It also had a closet full of beach toys and chairs. The whole experience was wonderful and we know we will use this rental company in the future.

This is the second time we have stayed in this condo. The location is fabulous for overlooking the Gulf of Mexico and walking distance to restaurants, bars and groceries. Property was better than average, but the golf cart was a plus. Was surprised that there was no welcome token. Not even a Keurig cup for a first cup of coffee. Nor salt and pepper a basic. Saw the largest cockroach and glad to have killed it. Lock combination changed by a software update but glad we were able to regain entry by calling the management company.

This is the second year that we’ve stayed here. Great location and quiet area with easy access to stores, shops and restaurants.
The house was noticeably cleaner than previous year. The golf cart is a plus in getting about in the neighborhood. The new living room furniture was much more comfortable-thank you.
All of the bed mattresses are in desperate need of replacing.
We hope to continue our Thanksgiving tradition.
